His reasoning was that he wanted to keep his personal and professional lives distinct, so he refrained from asking her out on a date after she ended her relationship with one of her ex-boyfriends.

The year she ended her relationship with Lekan for practical reasons. Despite “everything” he done for the singer, he said in another post that her family treated him horribly.
