Anatolij Trubin, considered to be one of the club’s top successors for Andre Onana, who Manchester United are apparently interested in, is supposedly a target for Inter Milan.
Fabrizio Romano claims that Inter Man is currently in a direct meeting with Trubin’s middleman in an effort to sign the goalkeeper from Ukraine.
As Inter waits for Onana’s deal to progress amid interest from Man United and a final decision on goalkeeper Samir Handanovic’s contract, Trubin is being explored as an option.
Onana is being actively pursued by Man United as a potential David De Gea replacement.
In a related event, Manchester United announced on Thursday that Wales defender Gemma Evans has signed a permanent contract to play for their women’s squad.
After stints with previous Women’s Super League teams Bristol City and Reading, Evans joined Man United.
“Signing here is a huge honor. It’s something I’ve fantasized about. I came here because of the club’s aspirations, Evans said on the website.
