Gift Orban received praise from KAA Gent boss Hein Vanhaezebrouck for his outstanding performance against Polish team Pogon Szczecin on Wednesday night in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The 21-year-old Orban scored three goals in the 5-0 triumph.
Following a fantastic campaign the previous term, the Nigerian has had a strong start this term.
Four goals have already been scored by the youthful striker for the Buffalos this year.
After the game, Vanhaezebrouck singled out Orban for appreciation.
He is and will continue to be a phenomenon. He added to reporters after the game, “I’ve said it five times, and I’ll keep saying it.
“I’ll keep saying it, but even when he’s gone, he’ll still be a phenomenon. He is still a youthful man at the age of 21.
His three-pointer? That is no longer noteworthy in and of itself, is it?
