Posted by Seun Kuti, a well-known singer from Nigeria, has disclosed the reason behind his distance from his first daughter.
The musician revealed this information when talking about his experience becoming a father.
In a widely shared video clip from his conversation with well-known media personality Timi Agbaje, Seun revealed that he was previously married to another woman named Yetunde.
Although he said that being a parent was one of his greatest accomplishments, he acknowledged that he did not have a close relationship with his first kid because of her mother.
“Becoming a father is the greatest thing I have ever accomplished. I have two children, but I don’t spend much time with my second daughter. Still, it is the most joyous thing I have ever experienced.
“There are complex conditions. I don’t get along with my first daughter’s mother, but then again, no family is perfect.
“When I gave birth to my first daughter, I was single. It’s interesting that before the birth of my first daughter, I only engaged in premarital sex twice.
