Timber, 22, is reportedly close to signing for Arsenal after agreeing to personal terms with the club, according to reports.
Van Basten, though, thinks Timber will have a difficult time cracking Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup for Arsenal at the Emirates.

You haven’t even been playing for Ajax three years. What year are you now? 21 or recently turned 22? You need to be careful to avoid becoming a backup player there, according to Van Basten (via Mirror).
“I would have held off until I had more expertise. You should have stayed at Ajax for another year. Don’t just show up somewhere to engage. You should join a team where you will be looked upon as the captain and the dominant player.
