Shehu Sani, a former senator from Kaduna Central, has encouraged President Bola Tinubu to disregard former President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to have his successor not be investigated.
He advised the president to investigate the previous administration and reclaim stolen assets.
He warned Tinubu that failing to recover stolen monies might have serious repercussions.
On Thursday, Sani made this claim using his Twitter account.
“Tinubu should ignore Buhari and go ahead and investigate the past Government and recover looted funds,” the sociopolitical commentator tweeted. If President Tinubu does not pursue plundered funds, they would eventually come after him.
