The recent hiring of principal officers, according to Kaduna State University’s (KASU) administration, was done on the basis of merit and in accordance with the established guidelines.

This information was included in a special bulletin that was signed by the institution’s registrar, Hajia Samira Balarab.

The university’s rules and regulations on hiring principal officers gave the institution’s governing council the authority to appoint the registrar, bursar, and librarian on the basis of merit while also requiring that the principal officers go through a rigorous screening and interview process.

The same way, according to her, staff members are appointed to various positions within the university based on their academic credentials, work history, and other factors.

She claimed that the management of the organization wants to make the university a top-tier organization with a stellar track record.
