Bashir Badawiy, the club’s general manager, has reportedly given the players instructions to report back to the training field at the Kwara Football Academy by 4 p.m. on Monday.
After a lackluster 2022–23 NPL season, The Harmony Boys started a month-long sabbatical.
Kabiru Dogo, the team’s head coach, was given a task by Badawiy to enhance the team’s performance from the previous campaign by strengthening it.
After surviving relegation on the final day of the NPL season, Kwara United ended in eighth place.
Before the new season begins, the Ilorin club will try to sign new players.
