Casemiro claims that while he and the other players at Old Trafford are “saddened” to see the legendary player from Portugal leave the team, he is confident that his ex-teammate “knows what is best for him.”

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner will no longer return to the club following the World Cup, the Red Devils announced last week.

After his explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he attacked everything pertaining to Manchester United, he did this.

Last summer, Casemiro transferred from Real Madrid to the Red Devils, reuniting with Ronaldo after several years spent playing together at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Casemiro told reporters in Qatar, “I haven’t messaged him, but Cristiano is a really experienced guy and knows what’s good for his career.

Because you’re talking about one of the greatest players in history, it makes sense that we’re sad, especially in Manchester.

“Cristiano is a responsible adult who understands his needs.”
