The Principal Partner at Onyi Akpamgbo and Co, Kenechukwu Nwosu, Esq., has frequently served as a wonderful source of support and motivation for the faculty, staff, and students at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University School of Law in Awka.
Students and employees at the Faculty of Law at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka have long struggled to find water that is convenient for both the students and employees.

In an effort to alleviate this misery, the Faculty’s Dean, Prof. Ogugua Ikpeze, recently hired an engineering firm to drill a borehole inside the Faculty.
Kenechukwu Nwosu, an attorney, was one among the faculty members who received a call from the dean asking for assistance with the project. As soon as Kenechukwu Nwosu Esq. learned about the project, he gave a donation of $1,000,000 (One Million Naira) to help fund the Faculty’s borehole construction.

It is gladdening to know that this financial support from Barrister Kenechukwu Nwosu and other friends of the Faculty facilitated by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ogugua V. C. Ikpeze and other members of the staff including Anthony Chinedu Onah, have enabled the Faculty of Law Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka to construct the said borehole and the Faculty now has a functional borehole that ensures that water runs throughout the Faculty.
It should be remembered that in 2021, Mr. Kenechukwu established and annually sponsors through his foundation “The Kenechukwu Nwosu Scholarship Award For Best Graduating Student” in the Faculty of Law, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, which awards the best graduating student with the sum of 400,000 (Four Hundred Thousand Naira) annually. This was in keeping with his characteristic nature of encouraging, rewarding, and celebrating excellence among the law students.
It is also important to note that in the year 2022 Mr. Kenechukwu accepted another offer to sponsor “The Kenechukwu Nwosu Award For The Best Chambers” in the Law Students Association (LAWSA) Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Annual Moot Court Competition with the sum of 300,000 Naira annually. Mr. Kenechukwu has a burning desire to always support and promote the teaching, learning, and practice of law.
By making this kind act, Mr. Kenechukwu has cemented his name in the minds of the faculty, staff, visitors, and friends of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka’s Faculty of Law.
The Faculty will surely gain a lot from the borehole’s construction because it will lower overall costs and improve its ability to educate students. It will also improve the ease and comfort of the Faculty’s personnel and students, and it will be very beneficial to the university as a whole and to the Faculty’s long-term growth and development.
As a supporter of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka Faculty of Law, I pray that God would continue to bless Mr. Kenechukwu with good health and greater resources to use as he has always done for the welfare of all humanity.
