Posted by The legendary Arsenal player Ian Wright is concerned about Harry Kane’s potential to cause problems for Virgil van Dijk, the team’s defender, ahead of England’s Euro 2024 semi-final matchup with the Netherlands on Wednesday.
Wright also said that England would win the semi-final match 2-1 over the Netherlands.
On the Wrighty’s House podcast, Wright stated, “We are going to need somebody to put Virgil van Dijk under pressure.”
Someone has to give him a little pause. This is the reason I’m concerned about Harry Kane’s current form.
“You have to enter that game with confidence,” he continued. I am now really optimistic that we can defeat the Netherlands. I predict that we will, defeating them 2-1.
