A lot of things happen to every young musician, he remarked.
I once went to a performance and no one paid attention to me in the slightest. It was all dancing.
“The disc jockey was only performing his act. Returning to the vehicle with my companion in tears, I experienced a sense of being unnoticed.
That would be the last time, I vowed to myself. I won’t ask for anything unless I truly believe I’m deserving of it.
