Palace defeated Manchester United 3-0 at Selhurst Park with to goals from Michael Olise (2), Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Tyrick Mitchell.

After the game, Glasner claimed his team had more command of the match than the Red Devils did in the second half.

He said that in contrast to Erik ten Hag’s squad, his own was more efficient and consistent at the fundamentals.

He explained to Sky Sports that they weren’t consistent in the first half because they weren’t playing to their potential.

We had a minor issue with our defense opening up the center too frequently, allowing them to create pockets; nonetheless, we were really efficient, which allowed us to score some lovely goals.

We made a couple of adjustments at halftime, the players paid more attention in the second half, and we came out on top.

“Congratulations to the team; it’s a fantastic win. We had a lot of good scoring opportunities and could have been more consistent with our fundamentals.”
