The nationwide removal of “All Eyes on the Judiciary” billboards has been mandated by the federal government.

The government also disbanded the secretariat of the Advertising Standard Panel (ASP) for its endorsement of the advertisement.

The Director-General of the Nigerian Advertising Regulatory Council, Dr. Olalekan Fadolepo, announced this in a statement on Tuesday.

He claims that the advertisement is offensive and is currently being reviewed by the judiciary.

He declared, “The council has mandated that the disclosed materials be taken down immediately and the violators sanctioned. The Advertising Standards Panel did not accept the exposed concepts.

As Nigerians anxiously await the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, the “ALL Eyes on the Judiciary” advertisement is released.

In the 2023 presidential election, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s win was contested by the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
