Posted by Stanley Nwabali, goalie for Chippa United, had a heroic performance in the penalty shootout, helping his team advance to the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
With Nwakali as their goalkeeper, his South African club defeated TS Galaxy 2-0.
A penalty was given to Chippa because of their 1-0 victory.
However, Nwabali showcased his nimble footwork once again to foil Pogiso Sanoka’s 12-yard attempt. He had previously exhibited same abilities at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Roscoe Heinrich’s penalty in the 94th minute doubled Chippa United’s lead.
Following the match, Nwabali took to Twitter to announce, “This is my office!!” Great team performance preceded by another shutout and consecutive wins in the Nedbank Cup.
