Under Todd Boehly, Chelsea has invested a total of £1 billion in players.
They’ve already spent almost £320 million this summer.
Carragher believes Chelsea still needs at least four top players, including a goalkeeper, a center forward, and a striker, to be successful.
The former Liverpool defender said to Sky Sports, “If you ask me how many players they need to challenge Manchester City, I still think they need a new goalkeeper even though they just signed Sanchez.”
Because Thiago Silva is 38, I believe they still need another elite center-half.
