Tinubu cannot investigate Buhari’s administration, according to Primate Ayodele, since it will “run down” his administration.
He made this statement after Buhari reportedly told Tinubu not to look into his former appointees, according to sources.
However, Garba Shehu, the former spokesperson for Buhari, rejected these claims and emphasized that the previous president had never made such an appeal.
This government would perform better than Buhari’s administration, but they won’t be able to address the previous administration since doing so will bring down their government, according to Ayodele, who delivered a “Warning to the Nations” on Saturday in Lagos.
This administration won’t be able to investigate Buhari’s administration.
Ayodele urged Tinubu to protect free speech and the press while in office.
I admire Tinubu’s government; I have nothing against it, he declared, but if you speak, people start looking for you. When the time comes, they won’t permit the right to free speech.
“I will suggest to this government that they permit free speech and the press.”
