Stabbings occur during Sydney church service, affecting bishop and others

While attending a live internet service in Sydney, a number of people, including Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel of Christ the Good Shepherd Church, were stabbed.

Screams and a stampede to aid the bishop are audible from the congregation.

A guy was apprehended in relation to the incident, according to the New South Wales Police. The assault injured four individuals.

According to Sky News, two men, one in his 30s and the other in his 50s, were critically injured and sent to the hospital after suffering many lacerations.

The police have stated that they are currently conducting an operation in Wakeley in response to reports of a stabbing.

Police from the Fairfield City Police Area Command responded to reports of multiple stabbings at a residence on Welcome Street in Wakeley.

“Police have detained a man, and he is cooperating with their investigations.”
