Sen. Kingibe on Insecurity: Wike Doesn’t Care If People Live in the FCT

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Senator Ireti Kingibe has criticized FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his “I don’t care attitude.”

If what Ireti says is true, Wike could care less whether the nation’s capital is inhabited or not.

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of the 2023 presidential election, the senator delivered a speech on Sunday in Abuja at a gathering hosted by activist Moses Paul.

The Obidients would find a solution, she stated, notwithstanding the minister’s concerning attitude.

Currently, our country is facing some challenges. Although I hold the highest elected office in the FCT—that of senator—thanks to your election, I am compelled to collaborate with a minister who appears oblivious to the fact that the FCT is home to human beings.

We Obidients, though, will need to devise a plan B.

As soon as possible, we must begin organizing and making plans. Without immediate action, the situation (of the nation) will worsen. Our impending doom is insecurity.

No way. The farm is off-limits. Nothing will work. We need to be the ones to lead, she proclaimed.
