The untimely collapse of the venerable and historic mosque at Kofar Fada, Zaria, on Friday, August 11, 2023, during ta’asar prayers, was welcomed with grief, according to a statement released by Revs. Joseph John Hayab and Ma’aji Caleb, who served as chairman and secretary, respectively. Many worshipers who were performing their required prayers died as a result of this, while many others were injured in varying degrees.

According to the statement, CAN expresses condolences to the state’s Muslim Ummah and the Emir of Zazzau on behalf of the Christian community.
