Rooney reveals England’s starting duo for Euro 2024

Wayne Rooney, a superstar at Manchester United, has selected the starting lineup for England’s Euro 2024 squad.

The newly appointed Plymouth Argyle boss recently stated on the Overlap that the two most essential players for the Three Lions are Harry Kane and Jordan Pickford.

“Jordan Pickford and Harry Kane are the two most important players for England,” Rooney stated.

We haven’t seen much of England’s other goalkeepers in the friendly games because Gareth Southgate doesn’t rotate Jordan, therefore Jordan is crucial.

I was a member of the England squad for Pickford’s debut appearance for the national side, and we played together at Everton.

“They judge Pickford because he’s a bit lively and does some bits in goal,” the player explained.
