In the ongoing discussion about who is the greatest of all time, La Liga president Javier Tebas has offered his thoughts.

While praising Messi and Ronaldo as two of the “best players in history,” Tebas prioritized the Inter Miami forward over the Portugal captain.

This came up in a recent interview he had with DSports’ Juan Jose Buscalia.

Messi is top among all-time greats, although both Cristiano and Lionel are among the very best. According to Tebas, players are valuable, but they aren’t necessary, for a tournament.

It will never happen again, the stars have aligned, Tebas remarked, after “trying to repeat it for so long.” Messi and Cristiano have been playing at a high level since they were 18 years old.

Both Messi and Ronaldo are generally considered to be among the sport’s all-time greats.

When they were both playing for Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Spanish LaLiga, they were a combined 13 Ballon d’Or winners.
