For Riyad Mahrez to leave Manchester City, a contract worth roughly £865,000 per week has been offered.
Initial reports said that the Algerian international had been offered £25 million per year, or £480,000 per week, to join the exodus to the Middle East.
That is less than the weekly salary of £700,000 Jordan Henderson, the captain of Liverpool, received.
The Man City winger, though, reportedly received a massive £45 million per year offer to join Saudi club Al Ahli, according to talkSPORT.
That works out to about £865,000 each week, which, when compared to Henderson, would reflect his reputation as a five-time Premier League winner.
Additionally, it’s more than seven times his present Man City pay of £160,000 per week.
