Ojo Olorunleke, goalkeeper for Enyimba, stated that the return of the supporters will be a tremendous boost to the team’s morale ahead of Sunday’s (today) home match against Katsina United.

The championship holders’ fans were punished for their disruptive behavior during the match against Doma United, therefore they have played their following three home games in front of closed doors.

Despite missing out on public support, the People’s Elephant nonetheless managed to win all three games.

Nevertheless, according to Olorunleke, their comeback will provide the squad with an extra advantage in the title race.

“Regarding our wonderful supporters, we are overjoyed that they will be returning to show their support once more.

As we have consistently stated, their support is invaluable,” the goalkeeper told Enyimba’s media in an interview.

As a team, we’re thrilled that our fans will be able to make it to the game on Sunday to cheer us on. We’ve truly missed them, so their return is a huge boost.

“Well, well, well. Looks like Sunday is going to be a smashing success. The performers, as always, will be absolutely fantastic, just like they always have.”
