For the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Sadiq is one of 23 players called up to face South Africa and Benin Republic.
Thanks to his stellar play with Remo Stars in the Nigerian Premier Football League this season, the right defender has earned an invitation.
The Sky Blue Stars have tallied 10 assists from the 22-year-old this year.
