Atiku Abubakar, a presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was asked on Sunday by Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church to submit to negotiations with the group headed by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

The PDP’s internal strife, according to Primate Ayodele, will harm Atiku’s chances of winning the 2023 presidential election.

The man of God urged him not to disregard the party’s five resentful governors because their resentment would harm his chances.

As for Atiku, he should humble himself and yet persuade Wike, according to a statement from Primate Ayodele that was signed by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin.

He is able to make Wike’s negative traits positive. These five governors should not be disregarded since their displeasure could damage his triumph.

“He needs to adjust his strategy. Whoever asks him to ignore the governors, he should disregard.

Atiku and the PDP’s top brass have angered the Integrity group, which Wike leads.

The group is pushing for parity in the party’s zoning of leadership seats.

They oppose the PDP National Chairman and presidential candidate from the North.

The group, which consists of the governors of Oyo, Benue, Abia, and Enugu, wants the PDP National Chairman position to be assigned to the South.
