Sensational John Ighodaro, a.k.a. Johnny Drille, a Nigerian singer, has discussed how he felt like a “loser” after failing to place in the top 10 of MTN Project Fame.

The recentlywed singer reported appearing in the talent competition in 2013.

He revealed this in a recent Trending segment on Hip TV with reality actress KimOprah.

Many people are unaware, but I appeared on Project Fame in 2013, he claimed. I failed to place in the top 10, let alone take first place. For me, however, it felt like the start of everything for all of these.

“I am aware that something inside of me was born the night I was evicted. I feel defeated for the first time in my life. I feel as though I was never valuable. I decided that night that I was going to become a wonderful guy, musician, and artist. I consequently began performing professionally in music from that point on.

After releasing the smash single “Wait For Me” on Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records in 2015, Johnny Drille gained notoriety.
