Well-known singer Tiwa Savage said that Olamide turned her N100 million for a verse in one of her songs.
Olamide, the proprietor of the YBNL record label, rejected the money when his management billed her, according to a post Tiwa made on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
She mentioned that Olamide didn’t charge her as he was aware of the challenges faced by female musicians in the music business.
Speaking of their relationship as siblings, Tiwa expressed gratitude to the rapper for showing her his kind and kind nature.
I did not want to speak with him personally since he would want to do it for free, so I was speaking with his management instead. I paid the N100m his team demanded, and I was happy to. He just said “NO” when Olamide asked them who the artist was. It won’t go over with him.
“I’m his sister, and he understands how hard it is for women to succeed in this field,” she remarked. And what do you know? He offered the poem at no cost. Baddo is one of the good persons in the world, she remarked.
