Posted by Sam Onuigbo, the board’s southeast representative on the recently constituted North East Development Commission, NEDC, has pledged that the board will fulfill its responsibilities.
Onuigbo predicted that NEDC would regain its socioeconomic potential in the region.
The former candidate for the Abia Central Senatorial District for the All Progressives Congress (APC) reaffirmed that the NEDC board “must structure our plans in a manner that renews hope and delivers development that is enduring and sustainable.”
Onuigbo thanked President Bola Tinubu in a statement for including him on the NEDC board.
“As we begin our work as Board Members of this significant Commission, what I will bring to the table is selfless service, anchored on the vision of offering guidance on visionary, significant, and forward-looking ideas for the sustainable development of the North East,” Onuigbo stated.
