Youth Minister ought to be under 35, says Adeyanju

The redeployment of several ministers has received praise from President Bola Tinubu.

A socio-political pundit named Deji Adeyanju suggested that the future minister of youth should be under 35 years old.

Abubakar Momoh had been the Minister of Youths under Tinubu, however he has now been transferred to the Ministry of Niger Delta Development.

Momoh was transferred after Nigerians complained that he wasn’t a young person.

“I commend President Bola Tinubu for removing the 64-year-old Minister of Youth & redeploying him elsewhere,” Adeyanju stated in a tweet.

It demonstrates that, unlike Buhari, he is sensitive to criticism. The Minister of Youth should now be appointed by the President and should be YOUNG.

“The minister of youth should be under 35, not an elderly person.

“It irritates me to no end that old men like me serve as youth ministers. No one, not even someone in my age range, deserves the label “youth.”
