Man United terminates De Gea’s employment

In light of the likely arrival at Old Trafford of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, Manchester United have reportedly reneged on their contract deal with David de Gea.

According to 460play, Man United has launched a formal approach for Onana and is aiming to close a £43 million deal to get the goalkeeper.

Manchester United retracted their offer to De Gea after he had signed a new contract with the club.

According to The Athletic, who has now clarified De Gea’s future at Old Trafford, that is the case.

According to reports, De Gea was willing to accept a large pay cut from Man United in order to stay longer.

The 32-year-old’s current deal with Man United is set to expire this summer, but the club has the option to extend it by an additional year.

But as they pursue Onana, Man United is now lowering the pay offer even more.
