The goal of Rivers United, according to technical advisor Stanley Eguma, is to win the 2023–24 Nigeria Professional Football League championship.
The Pride of Rivers lost the championship they earned in 2021–2022 after falling short against Enyimba on goals differential the previous campaign.
Eguma acknowledged that the struggle would be difficult, but he insisted that his side was prepared for the challenge.
Next season, Eguma told 460play, “our goal is to win the Nigeria Professional Football League championship.”
“Losing the championship last season on goal differential was a bitter one.
“The players are aware of the stakes, and we must go all-out to win.
It’s going to be a tough fight, but we’re prepared to fight and win.
