Months after their separation, Kim Kardashian and renowned American rapper and fashion designer Kanye Omari West, also known as Kanye West or Ye, have reached a divorce agreement.
Several businesses severed ties with the fashion designer less than a month ago due to his offensive and anti-Semitic remarks, which further damaged his already deteriorating public image.
The couple has been in the news since their divorce due to disagreements over property and child custody.
However, court documents submitted on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court by their attorneys showed they had come to a compromise as they asked the judge to accept the terms of their agreement.
The terms of the divorce agreement state that Ye will give Kim $200,000 per month in child support, that they will share custody, and that neither party will be required to pay the other spousal support.
It is believed that the agreement was made in order to postpone the trial that was set to start next month.
For contentious reasons, West has been in the news recently.
The “Donda” singer faced criticism for his anti-semitic comments in October.
Following the birth of their first child, Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian in 2013, and the two later wed in May 2014.
The reality television star, entrepreneur, and influencer Kardashian was married for the third time, while Ye was getting married for the first time. One of the most closely watched celebrity marriages in recent years was theirs.
