Jigawa proclaims Friday a holiday

The Friday, June 30, 2023 has been designated a holiday by the Jigawa State Government.

This was said in a statement that the head of the civil service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila, signed.

According to the 460play, the Federal Government has proclaimed Wednesday and Thursday as national holidays in observance of Eid el-Kabir.

The Jigawa State Government has announced that Friday, June 30, 2023, will be a work-free day in observance of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration and sincerely congratulates the Muslim Ummah in the State and the country as a whole, according to the announcement.

However, Alhaji Kila urged the state’s Muslim population to “make sacrifices for the growth and development of our dear State.”

He expressed the hope that the seasonal prayers and sacrifices will bring back the state’s long-desired peace and harmony.
