Femi Fani-Kayode, a senior member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has at long last responded to the names of cabinet nominees President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sent to the Senate.

According to 460play, the president had last Thursday forwarded the first batch’s list to the National Assembly’s upper chamber for review.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, read the final list, which had 19 names, at the floor of the parliament on Wednesday.

Former aviation minister Fani-Kayode had been made fun of by opposition party members for not being included on the lists.

FFK, who remained silent over the first list, has however thanked the nominees and said he wishes them the best of luck as they serve the country.

The former Minister claimed in a tweet sent out early on Thursday that the president made outstanding decisions in selecting all of the nominees.

Congratulations to everyone who made President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s (@officialABAT) first and second ministerial lists, he wrote.

“They are all fantastic picks, and I wish them all the best as they serve our wonderful country.

“I served as a minister for 16 years, so I am aware of how demanding and difficult the job can be. We must remember them in our prayers and ask God to lead them in all their endeavors as they help Mr. President and make difficult decisions for our country. They will be used by God to advance our wonderful country.
