Nigerians have been exhorted by President Bola Tinubu to emulate the value of sacrifice that the Eid-el-Kabir festival exemplifies.

According to a statement released by Dele Alake on Wednesday, Tinubu was speaking to reporters after attending the Eid ul-Kabir prayers at the Dodan Barracks prayer site in Lagos.

The importance of cooperation and unity in constructing a better Nigeria was emphasized by Tinubu.

He urged Nigerians to avoid conflicts based on race and religion.

“May the sacrifices we make lead to success. It is apparent that we must make the necessary sacrifices. However, Allah won’t give you a load you can’t bear. He is available to us. We need to believe in the nation. Have faith in ourselves and the fact that we must work together to create this nation as its citizens, he said.
