Gary Neville, a veteran of Manchester United, has voiced his worries regarding Mason Mount’s £60 million signing by the Red Devils.

Mount has reached an agreement to leave Chelsea and join Erik ten Hag’s team at Manchester United this summer.

The England international struggled at Chelsea last season, appearing in just 35 games in all competitions and scoring just three goals for the Bleus.

Neville, however, is not persuaded that Mount is the ideal acquisition for Man United because they already have midfielders like Casemiro, Fred, and Bruno Fernandes.

To be completely honest, I am astonished about the Mason Mount one. For the allegedly £60 million price. I have no doubts about the fact that he is an excellent player.

“But I consider the players United already has, including Scott McTominay, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, and Fred. Do I believe Mount should enter and resolve everything? Neville said, “I’m not entirely sure,” according to METRO.
