The governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has made some small changes to her cabinet.

According to a statement issued by Tammy Danagogo, the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Professor Zacheaus Adangor, who was formerly the Commissioner of Justice, has been transferred to the Ministry of Special Duties, which is under the administration of the Governor.

Isaac Kamalu, who was formerly the commissioner of finance, has been transferred to the ministry responsible for creating jobs and empowering the economy.

All parties involved are instructed to promptly transfer control to their respective permanent secretaries, as stated in the statement.

“All hand-over processes must be completed immediately,” the SSG added in its statement.

The commissioners were redeployed without a particular cause being given by the state administration.

Both Adangor and Kamalu were faithful members of former governor and current FCT minister Nyesom Wike’s cabinet throughout Fubara’s tenure.
