The public is eager to observe which team will lose ground to the other. This weekend’s biggest Premier League game is this one. Man United defeated Brentford 1-0 in their Premier League debut, although Tottenham drew 2-2 with them.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will open for the home match between Tottenham and Manchester United at 5.30 p.m. Man United are in seventh place with three points, while Tottenham is now in ninth place with one point in the Premier League.

Harry Kane, who set the club’s record for goals scored and has since left the organization to join Bayern Munich this summer, won’t be available for Spurs.

In the 199 games that have been played between the two teams, Manchester United has a solid record versus Tottenham, winning 96 times to Tottenham’s 53.

Two Premier League games for Arsenal have been rescheduled:

Two of Arsenal’s forthcoming matches against Manchester City and Chelsea have been rescheduled by the Premier League. This occurs before Monday night’s away match between Arsenal and Crystal Palace. The team led by Mikel Arteta will now take on Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on October 8.

It is the first league meeting between the top two from the previous season, according to 460play. The Gunners defeated Pep Guardiola’s team earlier this month to win the Community Shield on penalties. Two weeks after the Manchester City match, Arsenal will travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea. That game will still be played on Saturday, October 21, but it will now begin at 5.30 p.m.

All of the Premier League games in October have been adjusted for television. Fixtures are nevertheless always subject to modification.

How Kevin de Bruyne’s replacement, Manchester City’s playmaker, will fare:

Due to a reoccurring hamstring issue, playmaker Kevin de Bruyne of Manchester City may be sidelined for at least the next four months. De Bruyne has sustained a major injury that may keep him out for a while.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Man City, had previously acknowledged that the Belgian could not be replaced in his lineup but argued that they have other capable players who can fill his spot. Along with teammates Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi of Inter Miami, De Bruyne was just nominated as one of the final three nominees for the 2022–23 UEFA Men’s Best Player award. De Bruyne was in outstanding form for Guardiola’s club last season.

Rio Ferdinand, a former player for Manchester United, has recently advised Man City to temporarily replace De Bruyne by signing Lucas Paqueta from West Ham United. According to Darren Bent, a former star for Tottenham, other Manchester City players will need to step up in De Bruyne’s place.

Nominations for PFA Player of the Year:

Players from Manchester City and Arsenal have dominated the most recent PFA Players’ Player of the Year nominations. The six finalists will be put to a vote by Premier League players to determine the winner. Three Manchester City players—Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, and John Stones—are on the short list.

Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are candidates for Arsenal, who finished second in the Premier League last season.

The six-man list included Harry Kane, who this summer completed a transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich. According to DAILY POST, the award winner will be revealed on August 29.

Expectations as Mason Greenwood waits for Manchester United’s final decision:

As the new Premier League season begins, Mason Greenwood is awaiting word from Manchester United about his future with the team. Collette Roche, the chief operating officer of Manchester United, recently provided an update on the inquiries that will determine Greenwood’s future at Old Trafford. A “detailed and thorough internal investigation” was conducted at Man United, according to Roche, in the wake of Greenwood’s dismissed criminal charges.

Greenwood hasn’t played for Man United since his arrest in January 2022 for attempted rape, violence, and coercive control. He is now suspended by the club. The 21-year-old England star, though, got his charges dismissed in February of this year and is awaiting Man United’s decision regarding his return.

According to the UK Sun, Greenwood’s Manchester United colleagues would be in favor of his return to the team.

They think Greenwood merits another shot.
