Leverkusen wants Boniface to take Patrick Schick’s place as their injured attacker, according to German tabloid Bild.
Officials from Leverkusen noticed the 22-year-old during the team’s Europa League match against Union St. Gilloise the previous year.
Everton, a Premier League team, has also spoken with the Nigerian.

Last summer, Boniface transferred from the Norwegian team Bodo/Glimt to Union St. Gilloise.
