Bayer Leverkusen, a Bundesliga team, has entered the market for Union St. Gilloise forward Victor Boniface.

Leverkusen wants Boniface to take Patrick Schick’s place as their injured attacker, according to German tabloid Bild.

Officials from Leverkusen noticed the 22-year-old during the team’s Europa League match against Union St. Gilloise the previous year.

Everton, a Premier League team, has also spoken with the Nigerian.

Last summer, Boniface transferred from the Norwegian team Bodo/Glimt to Union St. Gilloise.

According to rumors, Union St. Gilloise wants €12 million for the striker.
