One individual was wounded in the chest, leaving the OVO leader’ house blocked off by police on Tuesday following a gunshot incident near his property.
According to Toronto’s City News, the victim has been rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery after the police determined that she is not Drake.
Reports of gunfire were received by Toronto police at around 2:09 a.m. ET on X in the exclusive Bridle Path neighborhood of the city.
At this time, neither the suspect nor the vehicle that he or she escaped in have been described.
There has been talk of an investigation and more digging is reportedly taking place.
Although the exact reason behind the shooting remains unknown, it coincides with the current animosity between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, who have both been dropping new diss recordings every single day.
