Dije Aboki is the first female chief judge of Kano, according to the state assembly

As the first female Chief Judge of the state, Justice Dije Aboki has been confirmed by the Kano House of Assembly.

Following a letter from the state governor, Abba Yusuf, to the House, her nomination was authorized on Thursday.

According to 460play Abdullahi Ganduje, the previous governor of Kano, named Aboki as

state’s acting chief judge.

The Assembly also approved the nominations of three more commissioners that Governor Kabir-Yusuf had sent.

Ibrahim Namadi, Ibrahim Fagge, and Amina Abdullahi-Sani were the candidates who passed the screening.

Ismail Falgore, Speaker of the House, urged the approved nominees in a statement following the confirmation to uphold the appointment by being devoted to their responsibilities when given portfolios.
