Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich and Senegal’s national team earned the Men’s Player of the Year honor at the previous round of the competition.
The winner of the women’s award was Asisat Oshoala of the Barcelona Femeni of the Spanish Iberdola team.
In recent years, Oshoala has dominated the division, triumphing in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022.
