The Muslim Ummahs have been exhorted by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Niger State Chapter, to continue praying for the state’s peace, unity, and development, particularly for an end to all of its issues.

In a message commemorating the 2023 Eid-El-Kabir festival, the State Chairman of will, Most Rev. Dr. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, made this call, stating that only when there is protection of lives and property will the populace experience peace, progress, and development.

“I congratulate the Governor, Umar Bago, and the millions of Muslim Ummahs as you celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir,” he declared on behalf of the state’s entire Christian population.

I implore everyone to keep praying fervently, especially during this time of sacrifice, for an end to insecurity and for the tranquility of our beloved State.

The cleric, who is also the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, expressed hope that the season’s sacrifices would bring back the nation’s long-desired peace and unity.

Rev. Yohanna urged the people of Nigeria to keep praying, saying that with God’s help, “we will soon overcome the current challenges confronting our state.”
