This season, Balde has established himself in Xavi, the manager of Barcelona,’ starting lineup.
With three assists, the 19-year-old has started 12 of Barcelona’s 14 league games this year.
Due to his strong play, the left-back was selected for the Spain team for the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Balde acknowledged that he has a soft spot for Manchester United even though his future at Barcelona appears to be bright.
A club other than Barcelona?, Balde was asked in a TikTok Q&A with Mundo Deportivo, to which he responded, “United.”
In 2024, Balde’s current deal with Barcelona will come to an end.
