Angelo Gabriel, a Brazilian winger, has officially left Chelsea to sign a season-long loan with Strasbourg of the French Ligue 1.
This was announced by The Blues on Tuesday via a statement on their website.
Angelo will now continue his development in France’s top division with Strasbourg, who are managed by former Nice and Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira, according to the release. I wish you luck, Angelo.
Gabriel moved from Santos of Brazil to Chelsea earlier this summer.
The 18-year-old traveled to the United States with Chelsea’s first team on their preseason tour.
In Chelsea’s friendlies against Wrexham, Brighton, and Fulham, Gabriel made an appearance.
