On Wednesday, he made this claim during a Twitter chat moderated by Serwaa, a media figure from Ghana.
No Ghanaian artist has even achieved as much success as Asake, according to Shatta Wale. neither do I.
“Nobody has achieved Asake’s level of success in the Ghanaian [music] industry. Let’s be reasonable.
“But you said you are the richest Ghanaian artiste and you haven’t even made it up to Asake’s level?” the host implied.
“Why would I have to reach Asake’s level [before I would be the richest artist in Ghana]?” Shatta Wale retorted. Unknown to us, there is a Spanish musician earning money in either Spain or the Dominican Republic.
According to 460play, Shatta Wale recently claimed that Asake had sold out the 20,000-seat O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom, and that the accomplishments of Nigerian musicians had eclipsed those of their Ghanaian counterparts.
