The Internet sensation from Warri claimed he was an ardent supporter of President Bola Tinubu and the APC but switched to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after reading a passage in the bible that discusses righting one’s wrongs. Ifeanyi Okowa is the vice presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2023 elections.
Jollof said he told the people to cease supporting APC after decamping but many didn’t take his advice seriously, mocking Nigerians over the present increase in petrol prices and other economic difficulties.
In a viral online video, he made this claim.
Mr. Jollof said, “I support Tinubu from the beginning but when I see the tigers wey dey with am and when I see the way say this people they are users,” in Pidgin English. They applied me. My use by APC.
