The next bout for Anthony Joshua, a boxer of Nigerian and British descent, will be held at London’s Wembley Stadium on September 20th or 21st.
After his previous fight on March 8, Joshua discussed potential opponents.
His next opponent, he claims, will be determined by the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, card that takes place on June 1.
Filip Hrgovic fights Daniel Dubois, and Deontay Wilder fights Zhilei Zhang on June 1.
Joshua has already planned his strategy for facing whoever wins either fight.
If they tell me I have a date, you can bet I’ll be completely prepared, he told talkSPORT. The venue is Wembley Stadium in London.
What I’m being told is this. We can trust them since, in general, they follow through on their promises. September 20th or 21st, Wembley Stadium.
“On June 1 in Saudi Arabia they’ve got the 5 vs. 5 card,” Joshua added when asked who he and His Excellency were considering as his next opponent.
Zhilei Zhang takes on Deontay Wilder, and Filip Hrgovic faces off against Daniel Dubois.
“I want you to fight [him] if one of those looks good—the one who looks the best,” His Excellency Turki Alalshikh told me.
