Romelu Lukaku, a striker for Chelsea, is scheduled to rejoin the Premier League team at the start of preseason.
The captain of Belgium spent the entire previous campaign on loan at Inter Milan.
Despite Lukaku’s strong desire to stay with the Serie A team, the two clubs have been unable to come to an agreement on a transfer fee.
Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer specialist, claims that Lukaku will now likely return to Chelsea’s training on Monday, July 17.
“Romelu Lukaku is now scheduled to make a return at training with Chelsea on July 17,” said Romano.
“On the player’s side, no decision has been reached yet regarding how to handle the preseason situation; it will be discussed in a few days.
“Inter will make a new offer very soon,”
Romano also disclosed that Harrison Parker will be joining Manchester City from Manchester United.
Parker, a center defender who is 16 years old, has talent.
“Manchester City and Manchester United are nearing an agreement with the top-talented CB (16) Harrison Parker.
“City has beaten four top clubs to the signing — agreement is close despite Man Utd offering highest youth deal to keep Parker,” tweeted Romano.
